Praised be Jesus Christ and Mary!

Himamat [hi..mat.] (v.) is a Cebuano term that means "encounter".

Guy de Maupassant once said, "It is the lives we encounter that make life worth living."

We meet people in our lives for a purpose. As we connect, may we become each other's sources of light and blessing that will ignite the flame within ourselves amidst diversities and adversities.

I, (NAME), a Theresian student, am ready to inflame camaraderie as I fully engage and ready myself to NDST Himamat 2023.

May we bring forth the true essence of brotherly and sisterly connections as we flare up the fire of one another's inner spirit as we himamat.

Makighimamat and build a strong foundation of friendship that envisions peaceful harmony.

The School

Brief History

In 1992 a devout Catholic Christian from General Santos City, Ms. Jovita Onez, donated one hectare of land to the DST congregation. The DST sisters, thru the Mother General, accepted the donation and pledged to establish a convent and a school. Construction begun in 1999 and by January 3, 2001, the buildings were completed and blessed.

The following months, the DST Sisters started accepting enrollees for the preschool and primary levels. Classes started on academic year 2001-2002 under the school name Canonico Antonio Institute.

On February 20, 2020 the school changed to its current name.
